Students will explore the many possibilities of the collagraph print, a very affordable printmaking technique that can produce interesting and often unexpected results. Students will create a collagraph plate using mat board, looking specifically at incising and peeling away layers of the plate, and applying textures, paint mediums and glue onto the plate surface. As the course progresses other printmaking techniques will be explored, including drypoint, silkscreen on substrate, monoprint and others.

Students can bring in images and ideas to work with, or work on ideas during session times.

Class size is limited to a max of 6 due to the physical limitations of the classroom.
