Suzi Zglinicki will present a short talk and visual presentation on the achievements of a handful of women artists working before World War 2, who were prominent in the fields of painting, printmaking and ceramics, but who were systematically erased from the canon of Australian art during the remaining 20th century.

In their time, many of these women were well known, although they were considered more of a novelty than as serious professionals.
